CIT-RI is proud to work with countless partners across the state, including representatives from: police, fire, EMS, community health centers, crisis centers, shelters, treatment facilities, NAMI-RI, recovery groups, RI Department of Corrections, Health Equity Zones, the Department of Behavioral Healthcare and Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH), Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association, the Mental Health Advocates office, and more.
Representatives from the advocacy, police, mental health, and substance use backgrounds are present in our steering committees, at our training academies, or through curriculum and program development.
CIT-RI has partnered with Roger Williams University for research and evaluation to help measure the impact, outcomes, and efficiency of our CIT programs. Stay tuned for updates on the results of this evaluation work.
